02 Preface

Guangzhou, referred to as Sui, also known as Yangcheng and Huacheng, is the capital of Guangdong Province, the first batch of coastal open cities, an international trade center, and an international comprehensive transportation hub. Guangzhou is located on the northern edge of the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macau. It is China's southern gate to the world. It is the core city of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a hub city for the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

Guangzhou Expo is a large-scale expo that combines Chinese and foreign economic and trade sponsored by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. It has been successfully held for 27 sessions so far, and has achieved remarkable results in government affairs, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

03The 28th Guangzhou Expo

The 28th Guangzhou Expo is scheduled to be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex from August 28 to 31, 2020.

This exhibition opened 3 comprehensive exhibitions-Guangzhou exhibition area, domestic provinces and cities exhibition area, international exhibition area, 5 professional exhibitions-Guangzhou famous agricultural products and food expo, Guangzhou restaurant franchise exhibition, Guangzhou elderly health industry exhibition, Guangzhou fresh supply Chain and Cold Chain Technology and Equipment Exhibition, 2020 International Public Health and Anti-epidemic Materials Exhibition, set up 2 special exhibitions-Taiwan Commodity Expo special exhibition, poverty alleviation special exhibition, and add "Guangzhou Fresh Food Supply Chain and Cold Chain Technology Equipment Exhibition" .

The exhibition will build a good platform for cooperation and exchanges with first-class organization and first-class service for businessmen from all over the world, provide all-round accurate docking of exhibitors, and create more business opportunities for trade negotiations and investment cooperation.

The 27th Guangzhou Expo and the 2019 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo will be held concurrently. The exhibition area is about 160,000 square meters, with 3 comprehensive exhibition areas, 4 professional exhibition areas and 2 special exhibitions. Nearly 92 participating countries, regions and domestic cities. According to statistics, during the 26th Guangzhou Expo, more than 200,000 Chinese and foreign guests entered the exhibition for economic and trade cooperation and exchanges. The amount of signed trade contracts was about 196 million yuan, the amount of intention was about 11.3 million yuan, and the retail amount was about 22.05 million yuan.
